Happy Valentine's Day!

This weekend is a big one for us! Feb. 14 is Pop's birthday, Mom and Pop's anniversary and Valentine's Day too. And we got more snow last night - 3 inches of new powdery stuff. I hope they can go out to dinner tonight like they planned - we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow night! When will it ever end?

Happy Valentine's Day to all our friends in blog world! Don't forget to take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count - we did! For more wonderful photos of critters from all over click Camera Critters.

Joey - Our Cuddlebug

I spent many years of my 10 years as a feral living behind our house. Mom took me inside a few years ago because I was getting beat up by some other cat in the neighborhood. I won't tell who.

I always knew I was a lover and not a fighter. I am very sweet and adore my mom. I follow her everywhere (even in the bathroom). When she gets the bed ready at night I love to help her and then when she is all done I just throw myself down on the bed with a big sigh cuz I know I am gonna get some lovin and hugs. That is the best part of my day.

Who could resist me?

Blue Mancat Monday

We are playing Blue Monday today on Mancat Monday. For some reason Albert's got a blueish color in these pictures - maybe the reflection of the snow outside.

We just got power back last night after three days of outage from a snow/sleet and ice storm. The world outside looked like a scene from Narnia! You can see the tree tops bowed under the weight of the ice and snow.

The sun finally came out after the third day and the ice glistened on the trees.
