Tabby Tortie Tuesday

Hello, this is Chica the tortie in this post. I am the senior cat of the group here...will be 19 this summer. I prefer to be alone or with Mom. I guess I would have liked to be the only cat but...Mom has to help all the poor strays and ferals!

Tabby Tabitha is the newest to come in the house. She is five and very sweet but awfully lonely. I think she misses her Mom Lily (who lives out in the super shelter we have) but Al was picking on Tabitha so much we had to bring her inside with us.

When it is time for the beans to go to bed, I get up there for some cuddle time with Mom. Tabitha thinks she can horn in on that and siddles up to me on her tummy hoping I will give her a cleaning.

Sometimes I do but not for very long.... Tabitha just about throws herself at me...how can I resist?

That is enough for tonight Tabitha. Now I just vant to be left alone!

Awww, poor Tabitha! We understand, though, Chica, 'cause our Annie would prefer to be an only cat too.

Tabitha must feel lost without her Mommy - you are sweet to make her feel more comfortable with a wash.

Oh my, Chica, you are such a gorgeous girl, especially for your age! Good going! And it's so kind of you to be a substitute mama to Tabatha when she needs it -- even if it's only for a little while.

Chica ♥ you are the sweetest tortie!
I think "most" torties have an xtra
sweet cat gene and they get along with other cats in the household. :)

Chica you look so much like little Lisa who went to the bridge in February at age 19, she too loved to be alone and she hissed at all cats who approached her. But only the last two years.

Awww...Chica, you're so sweet to take care of Tabitha even though you'd rather be by yourself or just with your mom. That's awesome that you look so good for a 19-year-old lady. Tabitha looks like a cutie pie. I hope she stops feeling lonely.

I love the pictures. It is so sweet that the older cat is kind to the lonely younger cat. Chica I wish for you many more years. 19! That is wonderful. My Mr. Sunshine lived to be 21years and three months.
