Thankful Thurdsday

It has been a very sad few weeks for our online blogging community with beloved cats going to the Rainbow Bridge and even humans too.  Many of our animal pals and their humans are not well and struggling to get their health back.

Our Yoko napping.

It is hard to find things to be thankful for with this going on around us but there is beauty still.  As Ann Frank said even in her dire circumstances  "Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.”

So this post is focusing on being grateful for beauty in our world - the spring flowers, lovely fur beings that share our lives and the bonds of friendship we have all forged over the years, online and in person.

Beautiful post. Yes, it is hard to find things to be thankful for right now, but we are very thankful for each thing you mentioned.

We're sure that Snowball and Norm are in a great place for a snuggle and lots of naps. The CB seem very sad at the moment with many of our friends being sick or going to Rainbow Bridge.
Hopefully Spring will be a better time.

Thank YOU for reminding us that yes, even in the midst of sadness and for us, an endless winter, beauty still is to be found.

My human always think of this saying during times like these: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."

Beautiful pictures and we need to keep the beauty around us alive. There is enough of it around us if we just look sometimes.

We know that life is not a bowl a cherries, but we also realized bad or sad times do not last. Our cats teach us so many lessons and their final one to us to respect death and loss for what it is but most importantly to keep on living and finding our way.
Thank you for this lovely post.

Cheri, thank you so much for your note and your lovely card. I appreciate so much. Your post today is so timely and lovely. I know you know the pain, especially with recently losing Chica, who was with you for such a long time. I'm sorry that I didn't know about the other kitty.

Hugs,
Vicki

Beautifully stated. Mom has been in tears so many times this past several weeks with babies that passed away and because of those who are suffering and sick. I am grateful for each kitty and doggie we know. Very grateful. We draw strength from one another.

Very uplifting post. Thanks. Mom remembers every night to be grateful. P.S. When we saw your header, we thought you had stolen our Astrid, but she's still here. Some of us are okay with that and some of us are not. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

What a touching post. Please know, as a Rainbow Bridge Ambassador I can assure all family members of pals over the Rainbow Bridge that we welcome them with open paws and they each have a wonderful Welcome Banquet and we keep them busy laughing, playing, nomming and napping.
I meet pals at the bridge in my Pram/Stroller and drive them to their banquet. As each pal makes his journey, he get his new stuff! I got new eyes and new kidneys; our body is refreshed and renewed and we only have happy memories.
Each RB pal will be their to welcome their own family as they arrive OTRB too. Everyone will be reunited with their forever family again...not just yet! XXX
