Happy Birthday Marg!

Happy Birthday to Marg from Mr Kitty and all of us Cats of Wildcat Woods!!!

Today is the birthday of a special friend of ours and of many bloggers and critters too.  If it wasn't for Marg, of Marg's Animals blog all of her wonderful pets, past and present would not have had a chance at a good life.  No matter how many she already had, she took more in if they were in need of a home..  Each one is loved and cared for like they were the only one.

We have been one of the lucky ones to actually meet Marg and her gang.  She is lovely - warm, friendly and funny. Just like her blog.  It is quite the adventure to meet all her adorable rescues.

We got to meet Peepers.

We want to share some older photos of our visit with Marg way back in 2011.  We have visited her every year since except last year.  In 2011 we got to meet Peepers, her goat along with  some of her older cats and of course her wonderful dogs, Ande and Jasmine. (Sorry the photos are not great. Mom had an old point and shoot back then - only 3.2 megapixels compared with the 16 on cameras now.)

Our Pop with Ande in front and Jasmine behind.

Mister oh so many years ago.

Pop and Joe in deep conversation.

Orange Boyz on the alert.

Wishing  Marg a super wonderful day and may the year to come

bring nothing but smiles, laughter and lots of love.

Happy Birthday Marg!

Callie, Lily, Ivy and all the rest of us Cats of Wildcat Woods (and Mom Cheri) would like to wish our friend Marg a very Happy Birthday! As you can see Callie has her party hat on....

Lily has the noise maker out...

and Ivy has the confetti ready!  Hope you are having as much fun at your house as we are here celebrating your special day!  Wishing you a wonderful day Marg, and a year of all good things!

April 9 - Happy Birthday to Marg!!!

Welcome to Marg's Birthday Bash!  All of her critters and friends are here to wish her the happiest of birthdays and a wonderful year to come.  Since Marg loves horses and used to work with them, we figured that would be our theme this year.  Marg, you have been appointed Barn Goddess for your special day!

The donkeys Joe, and Smoke, Ande the dog and all the cats want to wish you a very Happy Birthday too! Maggie and Mahoney also want to meow  a big hearty Thank You for taking such good care of us!

As you can see, Marge has a lot of animals to care for.  But she also works hard to make sure any animal that needs help in her area gets it.  She gets the Blue Ribbon for compassion for critters for sure!

Now... on with the party, beginning with  delicious horse shaped cakes - enough for all....

horse shaped pizzas....

rice crispie bars that look like mini hay bales...

Cupcakes for horse lovers...

And a goodie bag full of toys and treats...

like these rubber duck/ponies....

And for all of you daring enough to do it, a real live horse for a quick spin around the pasture!  Is that Marg's Black on this horse?

Marg - Hope your day is as special as you are.  If any of you have a birthday post up for Marg today - please leave your link in the comments.  The more the merrier!  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to go by Marg's blog to wish her in person!

Happy Birthday Marg!!!!

Thanks to Ann of Zoolatry for this great graphic!

Today our post is honoring a very special lady - our friend Marg who writes the blog Marg's Pets.  Marg writes about  all her rescued animals - her cats, dogs and donkeys.  If it wasn't for her, many of these animals would be homeless  and struggling to survive on their own.  These animals are lucky to have her in their lives and so are we.  Most of you will recall Mom and Pop got to meet Marg and her critters last fall.  Marg is kind, caring, thoughtful, funny, a good listener and a wonderful friend.  Happy Birthday dear friend!  They don't make them better than you!

Pop with Smoke, one of Marg's beloved miniature donkeys.

Yummy cake...

Marg, you are invited to teleport over here for a party! We have set up a special celebration featuring Marg's favorite character - Eeyore!  We have an Eeyore cake for all, ice cream, and Eeyore ears for all to wear.   We can even play pin the tail on Eeyore the donkey!!  Have fun everyone and join in the party!
